thing that suxxx about the place i worked before is the attorney who is most likely to get me in there said she would “write” me a rec letter, which would be great, except i have to WRITE IT MYSELF and i still haven’t done that. she told me to write that i am “the best law clerk i’ve ever had.” ha.

i need a new point and shoot, my battery died and it’s $90 to replace it and the camera isn’t good enough to warrant paying that, any recommendations?

i have canon SD600. it’s 3 years old though, they probably have SD9000 by now.

My kodak point and shoot is old and I think I am ready for something more advanced (maybe manual focus?) but this one just will not break so I can justify a new one :(

i like best the grand army cemetery at the end of volunteer park. it’s really old and teeny, and it’s just right in a neighborhood. it’s cool.

i also like calvary cemetery in bryant. i could see it from my dorm.

i have more to come i hope it is not overwhelming!

it’s thundering

i can only hear cars :(

it was quiet and rumbly, far to the north so you might not have been able to hear it anyway

sometimes i think i am hearing thunder but it’s really just a car going by (when the window’s closed).

i heard thunder today :)

it’s been loud! and a lot!

my dog hates thunder, it makes him cry. the rest of the time, apart from when there are fireworks which he also hates, he’s brave and cheerful.

i would like to call bullshit on a dance company that thinks they can hire a devo director for $13/hour!

i would laugh if i were not so outraged! they are in nyc and seawa, too. you’d think they’d understand.
