i just walked 4 km from the resort to king’s road. it was dirt, there
were cows, very hot, beautiful views. took some pics. fun.
then i stood on the kings road for 5 minutes. that part was worse
than the walk. then a bus from the resort (called the feejee
experience, they have these in NZ as well, basically a backpackers
bus, goes all around the island calling at resorts, all inclusive,
really retarded and for lazy people) picked me up. that was nice of
them. i sat across from this older australian lady who was amazed i’d
walked the dirt road, more amazed that i just figured that a bus would
show up on the king’s road. then the bus took me to this town where
i’ll grocery shop (i kind of want to cook, i guess i already said
that). and of course it all worked out, and in under an hour and half
i bet.
also any ideas onwhat kind of curry to make with all that plz n ty
(thoseare all my ingredients, nosalt or pepper eveni dont think)
oh yeah i guess this is my thanksgiving dinner
chicken onion mango curry w/masala for spice. dry fry some chopped peanuts to go on the top. eat with rice and drink beer.
!!! that sounds great. happy thanksgiving! <3
i love you
when does the mango go in?
(fry masala in butter to start, then add onions. stir around until onions are all limp. cut chicken into pieces, dry off on paper towels if possible, put in to fry w/ spice+onions. when chicken is starting to look done—depends on size of pieces, maybe 15 min—add mango pieces and simmer for awhile longer.)

<3 <3 <3
if things look iffy, or sort of burny, after you put the chicken pieces in, add a bit of water.
tjread to send good wishes to people trying to cook
voted mango btw.
good luck with the cooking, you’ll do great
guess what i voted
everybody loves mango, huh
haha yes, everybody does
not what i voted for though
forgot eggs and chips (crisps)
you’re not gonna guess, huh. oh well, it’ll be a surprise.
you picked a rum you’ve never tried before coffee?!???
turned out pretty decent. the mangos were waaaay underripe
which gave it a nice zing
only one burner. chicken was om the bone which i didnt realize. masala powder pretty grainy. worked tho. thx jaq
oh man i ate so many mangos this summer it was great
haha nope.
BUTTER!
cuz coffee, yeah. rum, yeah. but i dig a man who digs butter.
i vote all
(full disclosure: i wavered between rum and butter before choosing. and i somehow missed coffee on the list or i woul’ve had a 3-way waffle.)
which, by the way, is my breakfast suggestion for any morning readers: 3-way waffles.
small shells are a great type of pasta
i bet you will not guess how i voted
haldi powder (spice)
i think u voted green beans
i’m changing my guess. i think voted mango because “everybody etc.”
rong
tell
maybe some day
peanuts?
I think I voted beer but not sure.
not peanuts!
coffee is my guess.
i hope so because i had to vote for butter but i want coffee to get its due.
not coffee!
coffee (instant) btw
what brand?
a brand i’d never heardof and can’t remember
are you glad i didn’t vote for it
butter’s gonna win this contest
as is meet and right
KOFFINA
i am impressed bc i thought nestle had spread nescafe all over the world. glad to see there are still some nestfree places.
ha that was the other choice (i purposely avoided)
nascafe is insidious
i have never had instant coffee and i have only observed euros and africans drink it
oceania ppl drink it and so do i here but it’s pretty terrible
south americans also drink it.
and coffee syrup/extract mixed with hot water. it is yuk.
do antarcticans drink it?
no! they’d get freeze dried supersealed bags sent down on a ship once a year. already ground. kinda stale. still better than instant
euros love instant cafe which is so weird to me because many of them are also coffee snobs!!!
also the new starbucks instant is pretty good i have 2 admit
bounty rum is awful btw

this morning i made what i like to call Poor But Also Stupid Man’s French Toast: week old bread dipped in milk, then fried in butter
kind of poor but mostly stupid
harblol
Automatic thread bump. This poll is closing tomorrow.
