tehresa, i just had a conversation with a young woman who is interning in my office — from south carolina, taking her masters at u of arkansas — and she talks about seattle just the way you do.
so i told her about you (and the other young woman i told you about) and the sunny feeling, and she totally agreed that that’s how she feels here too! <3

p.s. are there jobs in Seattle these days?
i think there are! both j and i have been seeing a rash of help wanted signs around lately, which isn’t to say you want to work at the jobs we’ve seen signs for, but to us it seems to imply something positive about the climate in general.
I am officially looking...but i don’t know what i want to be when I grow up! That makes it hard and less urgent...

Things i learned this weekend:
·google maps is trying to kill me
·West Virginia really is wild and wonderful
·basil does really well off leash!
·she also likes to herd people and does not like when people separate from the group
·and she lovvvves frolicking in a meadow
·i need a tiny house in the mountains
·i might have poison ivy? (i guess i haven’t really learned that yet...stay tuned)

Yeah she was advertised as part collie in her adoption listing. When we were hiking she’d run back and forth to keep tabs in everyone. It’s really cute :) she has been asleep for two days! I don’t think i have poison ivy after all :)
