i have noticed that american DL photos are almost always quite flattering. the opposite is true in NZ.

ohhh, I keep forgetting that “what don’t you look like” actually means “what don’t you look like”. but based on your contributions to this thread, I’ve concluded that (1)you are not mummified, (2)you are not tinier than a postage stamp, (3) your skin is not made of porcelain, and (4) you do not have a kittycat (however adorable) permanently affixed to your face. really, this is a lot to take in at once.

this record is being reconstructed from scratch. those of you who were measured in the old place must return. those who’ve been here but not been measured (jabba, jaq), please return at your earliest convenience. and you who haven’t been at all: what the fuck. hurry up.

please note: estela’s measurement was recorded in october 2009 at sydney’s circular quay, and has been notated here solely for comparitive purposes, in order to settle the long-standing dispute between she and ruby. it should in no way be construed as a permanent measurement and in-person appearance for an official recording is required as soon as possible.

<3 i remember jergins was a little bit queasy about us placing our dainty socks directly onto the grimy circular quay pavement.

but our determination to see the project through helped us overcome any reticence, didn’t it. it was not the hardest thing by far that i had to do that day. remember how i cried and jergins said, ‘there now, stop crying’ and you said, ‘no, i like it’ which made me laugh a little bit through my tears, which i am expert at, by the way.

i am all for crying but that is because i cry easily, i think people who don’t cry often take it a lot more seriously than i do, they think it’s a sign of drastic sorrow whereas i view it as a hobby.

to be truthful i am a sorry dunce at pilates, also yesterday i sent a text to the instructor (who i love) saying i couldn’t attend because i was ‘suffering from unspecified gender-related discomfort’.

i want to visit in the fall maybe. i am going to start doing yoga again so that when i come i will be at my tallest and i will blow all of you away.

i saw steve tonight but we did not get a chance to measure because my parking meter had expired and i was scared of getting a ticket (those dc meter maids are something just awful).
