right that makes sense to me and I do the same thing. I don’t even like mac miller, just saying that the awfulness of that line / gambino gets overstated, there are lots of awful lines in the world.

i just thought it was funny that iatee chose a guy who writes some of my favorite lyrics (although the effect is dulled by writing them out, to a degree) for this. i mean if its appeared on a jeezy album as “i hug the block”-type raps have, it’s hard for you to say its an original concept, but he does such an incredible job w/ it imo, by transforming it into an actual love song
