and i’m not sure about their new stuff either. that said, i have just this second tried to blag tickets for their glasgow show, so hey.

(i think the least they could do is give me some. why, i’m sure my glowing review of their last glasgow gig is the sole reason they’re where they are now.)

Actually I published a long and detailed negative critique of the work of Joanna Newsom on my blog two months ago so the answer is maybe JR (who incidentally is a she—did you never read Smoke?) needs to get a computer and make more effort to keep up with advanced developments in music writing.

I mean Morley fulminated at length in OMM about music bloggers having more enthusiasm about new things than him which at least proves that he looks at them.
