So, my mom gave me a really vague description of some song she heard on the soft rock station. All she remembers is that it was a male singer, and the word ‘sign’ was used in the chorus (multiple times?). She went through the Billboard adult contemp. chart (1–20), and she said it wasn’t any of those...Ideas? Thanks.
“signs” by five man electrical band
Nope. It’s not “The Sign” by Ace of Base either. Or “Signs” by Snoop.
More helpful info: his voice is ‘nice,’ and there are instruments (!).
:D
“Sign o’ the Times”?
Better guess—“Sign Your Name”, Terence Trent d’Arby
my i-tunes next suggestion =
sign OF the times (ie b.ferry not p.n.nelson)
the sign (mountain goats)
thunderstorms and neon signs (wayne hancock)
more d’arby discussion on ilm for the win plz
No...I’m guessing it’s in the vain of Snow Patrol.
and by vain, i mean vein.
(and thanks!)
bah, I thought you’d typoed and the answer was “sing” by Travis.
(actually, did she ask you this in real life or via typing?)
She asked me in person.
Oh, and she called the restauraunt to find out what station it was on, and they said Flight 26.
is it this?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txtq29e7KQo
(i’ll bet it is)
btw—i know the word “sign” isn’t even in that song, but “time” sounds pretty similar and moms be mishearin’ lyrics and not caring.
Thanks, but nope...It’s most likely from the 90s, according to her.
signs by tesla. they did an unplugged version, right?
from the album five man acoustical jam
I’ll betcha it’s “Patience” by Take That...
Oops sorry, should have checked the Youtube link above. As you were...
She has to be thinking of the Tesla version of Signs, like what vahid and mark s said.
“Signs” by the Guess Who?
What a absolutely shitty song mate its piss poor. I couldnt stand listening to it for a minute much less the full length. You mom has poor taste in music mate.
Sorry he couldn’t live up to your mom’s standards.
