Easily my favorite BR album since La Mia Vita Violenta
wonderful, very up-tempo, shoe-gazey at times, their albums are usually growers for me, but this has been very immediate so far....
The classic 4AD records style sound is also very nice

Well, it’s not Misery is a Butterfly pt. 2, which is a good thing, imo. The nice dramatic chords are still there, but this is synthier & much poppier.
Misery felt a little too floaty/gauzy for me. I’m hoping the new one restores the spikiness of their older material.
