I like how he uses the word ‘reciprocate.’ He obviously champions literacy.
I like that ‘hhmmmmmmhmmmmyeahhhhh!!!’ near the end.
I don’t like how the handclaps are smothered with actual drums.
This doesn’t make sense to me:

at the beginning of AI last night when they were all “TAYLOR! DAUGHTRY! KATHARINE!” I was thinking to myself awww, I miss Elliott, even though it’s completely understandable he’d be the one out of the top 4 to not have a career. good to know he has a single out, shame I can’t listen to it at work.
His voice is sooooo much better than Taylor/Katharine/Daughtry. He just needs a better songwriter.
A lot more interesting than anything anybody else from last season has released. He may be trying too hard to sound like Stevie, but he’s better at it than most.
