I think it’s terrific—one of my favorite albums of 2007 so far.

It’s like Spacemen 3 meets ARE Weapons, with a little Royal Trux in there too. It’s also an album that gets better midway through. The first three songs or so are kinda meh at first, but, shit, that song “Toby?” That song rules. I love it. I actually want to buy the limited edition 12“s that Social Registry is selling but they’re expensive...

But yeah, a great album, but I can see how it isn’t for everybody. You gotta kinda get past the whole ‘nyc-fashionista-most-likely-trust-fund-trash-druggie-scumfuck’ thing. But slumming it can be fun, ya humorless bastards!
