OK now how does a North American get his hands on this? Or even a few mp3s to sample this (their myspace doesn’t seem to work at the moment).

OTM. It’s a bit half-assed, and the singer’s mannerisms are annoying.

Sorry about the old news, I thought this was all very new, but it appears they’ve indeed been doing this since at least 2003:
she sang a decent/perfunctory track on the Munki LP, which I imagine sets the tone for her project...
