Your choices sound good, except I’m not too fond of that Hall/Carter duo. It seems kind of inexplicably boring relative to how awesome it should be.

As for the original poster—I dunno, what kind of music do you like? Isn’t this kind of the same thing as “I’m going to a record store, what should I buy?” iTunes has quite a lot of stuff.

The iTunes store sucks ass. You pay CD or near-CD price for over-DRMed mp3s that you can only use on five machines ever, and even that is dodgy. I only ever use it when I need a quick fix of a certain single song, and iTunes is starting to cockblock that by making more songs “album only”
