i had high hopes for a new rekkerd, cuz it would have been interesting to see how they might have built upon their, um, premise. they left themselves a lot of room to roam and grow. oh well. they will just do something else. unless they have joined a monastery.

What little I’ve heard of this band does not live up to the hype for me. They’re like Mars Volta for the post-cynical set, lots of intensity but not much else, and completely carried by their drummer.

i’ve heard only little as well but i was struck by the energy and the hooks were pretty good

bf says they’re the best concert he’s been to

I’m sure they’d still be good to see live, but so would Mars Volta.
