i just read the ilm thread for lindstrom’s new record, and wow, everyone’s bonkers over some bullshit. ilxors that i like and whose taste i respect-max, table, tim f, s1ocki-are going nuts (were, i’m late) over a record that’s wanky, too-long, faded at the end of the night and not in the good way but the bad one . i dont know, whatever, we all like what we like and who cares, but i’m usuallyh so in sync with what those guys are listening to

i dunno man tbh i dont blame you for not liking the album, part of me thinks its a pretty context-specific kind of thing, like you have to be in the right frame of mind and right place and everything—and maybe thats true for all albums—but this one in particular is ‘riding the line’ hard and its def not an album that im going to listen to at every opportunity.

still think its dope tho.‘wanky’ is sort of a plus in my book!!

do you dislike all of it or just the first track? the next two arent very long/burned out, or at least, not as much as the first track.
