Fun fact: my flight was delayed, which gave me time to buy your post card and have a glass of wine while i wrote it (it was a long day). I thought i did a pretty good job watching the clock but as i was making my way to the gate, i got the page of shame: called out by name on the pa! this is actually not the first time i was the last one on, as they were about to close the gate!

i missed my flight last time i visited lxy. i still can’t believe i did that. i just totally messed up the estimated light rail travel time.

My sister once transposed the time of her flight. It was at like 11:30 and she thought it was 3:11 or something like that (lol 311). Another time she went to the wrong airport.

when we were in the airport the other day there was a flight waiting for one person and they just kept announcing and announcing, adding more languages all the time.

another time they called the guy over and over, and when he finally sprinted to his gate, everyone at my gate cheered and called at him by name.

a different time both jergïns and i fell asleep in the waiting area and didn’t wake up till final boarding call. they didn’t use our names though.

i have no more stories of this nature.

yes! i just got back yesterday.

i’m feeling a bit sad actually—i went on my own, and got to spend the whole time in welly hanging out with all my favourite people and it was awesome. now i’m home, and i really did miss jordan, but a liiiiitle piece of me wishes we could move back there—something i haven’t felt in the 6 years since i left.

i just really really miss having close friends around, people i can really *talk* to.
