i agree w. this!!
heres a list i made for another board that i think is good for this thread
best days of the year imo:
january: took train to gothenburg, visited the rohsska museum and then went out on the town w/ two australian kids, ending up moshing to rage against the machine at some weird bar at 3am (barfed on the train the next day u_u)
march(?): dj harvey sarcastic disco party, rolled up 12 or 13 deep with a bunch of random weirdos, spent the whole night buzzed and saw my philosophy professor, ended up at some diner in los feliz snakkin on milkshakes and fries while the sun came up
may: oldest friend in the world came out for graduation, went out to osteria mozza w/ fam for dinner, then went bowling w/ my roomies and my brother
june: beautiful drive thru nm and w. texas ending up in denton and eating mediocre pizza and pretty good ice cream
sept: decided at 6:00 on friday to go out to dinner, made last-minute reservations at blue hill and had 1 of the best meals of the year and got drunk on terrific wine w/ the chick
nov: election day, no lines at the polling place, cant get any work done, end up at a restaurant in bed-stuy around the corner from gf’s place packed to the gills, move back to the apt and listen to the victory speech on the radio while little kids are screaming and chanting outside
dec: this past sunday made terrible sugar cookies w/ old high school buds + pretty good hot buttered rum, then out to local pizza place drinking two beautiful pies and pitchers of beer for amazing nj prices, back to my house were we played hearts next to the fire

i’m trying to think of intersting lists to make but am not succeeding
beerlist?
i can make a list of my goals and hopes and plans and wishes for 2009 and beyond into the future but it would be pretty boring
nothing boring about getting laid and getting paid!
ok here are my goals for 2009
1. get laid
2. get paid
goals for ’09:
cook more
do well in school and learn
do meditation exercises more regularly
get laid (getting paid isn’t going to happen in ’09 let’s be honest)
join some clubs
phase current job out of life for good
find new job(s) related to subject of study
remember to give this basmati rice bag to lxy
top 4 xmas/winter/holiday ales i tried in ’08 off the top of my head
rogue: santa’s private reserve ale
deschutes: jubelale
sierra nevada: celebration ale
full sail: wassail (i think i tried this year’s version. maybe it was something else)
2 worst xmas/winter/holiday ales i tried in ’08 off the top of my head
widmer: brrr (the package says something about it having a “candy-like malty sweetness”. wtf who wants candy-sweet beer? it’s pretty gross. plus the name)
red hook: winter hook (red hook makes the blandest beer)
lingy i think your goals list is a good one, and many are achievable! you will feel so swell when you get to check them off!
lists i won’t make because they’d be too long:
ken’s market songs that pissed me off
things i said that made jergins o_0
spam emails that charmed me
times i had to say sorry for molehill -> mountain
electronics that broke then fixed themselves
times i had to buy ice because i had not made ice
lovely good wonderful times that were not recorded on this board
mark e mixes i have enjoyed lately
love the action
warm mix
turn it out
mystery mix
birdsong disco vol 1 number 3
goals for ’09:
cook more
do well in school and learn
do meditation exercises more regularly
get laid (getting paid isn’t going to happen in ’09 let’s be honest)
join some clubs
phase current job out of life for good
find new job(s) related to subject of study
