i have a fiction bookshelf and a nonfiction bookshelf. they keep accumulating and i read them way too slow :((((
it’s that kind of inert boredom where you can’t do anything, but i just forced myself to put some shoes on so things are on the up and up.
but it’s nice to have a stack of unread books! that way you always have something to anticipate. i directed jordan to put all my unread books on the top shelf.

last night, my brother and mom and i went to go see a movie at the century theater multiplex, and we told the driver we would like to go to the century theater. after driving at through some seedy streets, we end up at the new century theater http://www.newcenturysf.com (the marquee said “naughty hotties”). he then senses something is wrong and says “did you mean this century or the movies?” and we say “the movies” and he makes some embarrassed mutters and then eventually says “you guys don’t look like the type.” then he took us to the movie theater, but he dropped us off at the wrong one (it was only a block down the street but still).
i’m mad because the pic shows my bad side!
