i just sent an email to 900 people from my personal account instead of from the business account. oopsie.

i am guessing it is too late for “recall message”

haha, yeah. maybe those 900 will actually read the email, unlike the other 5000 who got it from the regular account.

i like how oopstimistic you are, lxy.

i didn’t complete the technical reading for a meeting this morning because the boss changed the meeting time. oopsie.

it turns out it didn’t matter cuz the document is so idiotic that we’re not going to even read the rest of it.

coffee in keyboard. oopsie.

this was a week ago but i still love the picture. knocked the clock off the wall at work. bye bye second hand:

⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯Two weeks pass⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯

i just realized i’ve been wearing my sweater backwards all day. oopsie.

on JIM’s birthday card, mark wrote, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ELIZABETH! I AM SO HAPPY YOU’VE RETURNED!”

(this elizabeth recently returned to work following a week’s vacation, during which a shocking, shocking scandal she was involved in was made public.)

oopsie.

[This post has been deleted by an admin]

(^names have been changed to protect the innocent)

you have to tell the scandal!!!!!!!!!!!

oh, it’s only interesting and shocking to me because i know the people involved. pretty standard workplace scandal that you could probably outline yourself.

my boss suggested signing the card with, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHIL*! WE MISS YOU!!”

*the other party involved in the scandal, who no longer works here because of the scandal

was it a SEX scandal

sexy scandal

sex, yes. but neither one of those people is the least bit sexy.

that is my favourite kind of sex scandal, when you get to be incredulous as well as scandalised.

incredulousness accompanied by much juvenile shrieking

the man at the center of this scandal looks more like a barber than a player or a man who should be in charge of much of anything

barbers tend to look like they should be in charge of things, like for example, your haircut

i hope phil* and elizabeth* never read this thread and learn the other is not as sexy as they thought they were when they committed the scandal.

i think they already learned it, thus the lawsuit

i think it might be time for you to tell us everything.

ps that article was front page, top of the fold

in a way that is the most shocking part of the story

Sexual harrasment question: “Did former Pres. Clinton committed a sexual harrasment??“ Posted on November 29, 2008 at 1:40 PM by leoflrz. Jump to comment

The woman is clearly a troublemaker. She was not financially harmed. In fact, she was offered a high paying job that she cannot do. She also did not allow the UW internal complaint to proceed but sued early. The case should be dismissed for failure to go through with the UW procedures. She is also too greedy, asking $500K. She didn’t have to get a ride from the guy. She could politely decline dinners and act professionally as women know how to decline dates and do it all the time. The man did not retaliate by firing her or lowering her salary (he promoted her).

it is always women who backstabs at the end. always

the comments omg!

!

afaik if you have a clearly defined policy for addressing this behavior and do not follow it (i.e. even if they wait too long to follow through on complaint investigation, etc.) then you are liable.

dude sounds like a crepe.

women know how to decline dates and do it all the time.

lol dsaun got some experience there?

haha

it’s 23.9 degrees on the porch but guess who has to go buy ice because

i hate filling ice trays.

― lxy, Thursday, August 21, 2008 6:38 PM

oopsie.

somehow it seems more reasonable in august than it does in december.

if the eaves were lower maybe i could just break off some icicles.

lower the eaves or make u taller?

lxy you should get diamond ice trays like me and then you will not hate filling them because you will be able to pretend you are making (blood) diamonds every time!

all fine suggestions.

however. i don’t think i can accomplish any of them without first having some drinks, so it’s to the store for me.

you will stand taller after i bet

for a while anyway, till i’m slumped against the wall!

they were only $1 for a set of 3 btw

xpost

if that helps

it they filled themselves and put themselves in the freezer in good time that would be more helpful.

“if”. oopsie

faît accompli

estela the world is better when you post more

thank you, lingbert, unless you mean the world is better when i’m sitting alone at a desk instead of being a public nuisance.

iow: you definitely making funnies on the board rite

rite

lazy me + frigid weather = i totally looked like a fucking bag lady going to the store (on account of i pulled on pink flowered pajama pants under my skirt and changed my slippers out for snow boots) = still lolling at the memory of my reflection in the store window

<3

morbius, roxy, and i once saw a girl playing pool in the bar in a getup not so far off from that, so i wouldn’t feel too bad!!

“unless you mean the world is better when i’m sitting alone at a desk instead of being a public nuisance.”

i don’t mean that

oopsie.

j/k (oopsie).

poopsie

ewpsie

i think it’s too cold for icicles

NOW we have icicles:

more, bigger, weirder:

they got some crazy beautiful patterns on them:

also, they are much larger today:

tonight i’m gonna break one of those fuckers off and use it as a swizzlestick.

hero

re that article: i am loling at ‘late-night emails’

only LOL it didn’t make a very good swizzlestick on account of ice floats duh

hope floats too why don’t you put that in your drink

^oopsie

you

you know what else floats?

your jokes?

sink or swim baby

i’m just glad i didn’t fall off the porch trying to grab that thing

woulda had to drag my ass in here and seek help from the emergency thread

i fell on my ass in the middle of the street FUCK it hurt

oopsie becomes owwie :(

⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯A month passes⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯

scandal lady got a promotion, it is rather suspicious timing imo

i never understood — and it kinda weirded me out — that there was a picture of a band-aid on the gmail login page.

till i just now realized it’s not a band-aid.

oopsie.

i told jo and eb about my ice problem, and they both felt really bad b/c they have refrigerator door dispensers that do cubes, crushed, and cold water. doesn’t that sound dreamy?!

jo said i should somehow break the refrig so the landlords would replace it with a newer, fancy model, and i had to tell her that the refrig was replaced ~2 years ago. then she felt even worse.

i had to open my gmail in a meeting, on a laptop connected to a projector. subject line FUCK THAT SHIT right up there on the big screen. oopsie but also kinda lol.

⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯Two weeks pass⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
