i am at home! it’s not too bad here. court is closed tomorrow which is good because i have a trial scheduled and never arranged for anyone to cover 3 other cases i was supposed to do at the same time. i feel lucky. AND it’s my birthday!

i keep confusing today’s blustery weather with your hurricane. keep thinking we’re having a dangerous storm, whereas we’re just having a regular storm. punctuated by perfectly clear, sunny periods. more than once i’ve thought “this is the eye.”

i am not the only seattlxor to be experiencing this confusion.
