lingbert, you may put cornnuts on your list of 12 Things You Irrationally Love (that is the only possible explanation), but you may still not eat them in my house.

maybe it’s just the ranch-flavored ones that i like. i haven’t had any other flavors in years. sometimes the crunch can be a bit too much, but it generally adds to the charm. the artificial flavoring is less overpowering than say doritos (which i like too).

they do smell. i don’t know if i would like to kiss someone with cornnuts breath, and i’m assuming others feel the same way, but so far i haven’t had to worry about this.

cornnut smell is good when it’s coming from yourself, but it’s not very appealing when coming from someone else.

the old cornnuts bag always made me think of pac-man

trader joe’s oriental rice crackers smell exactly like cornnuts. i know this because someone brought them to our party and then a bunch of people ate them so the whole house smelled like cornnuts. g-ross. i mean thanks, person who brought snacks to the party, that was really nice. but still, g-ross.
