i need a car to get to a hardware store or something. shipping those things is expensive.

overstock.com has them more expensive than other places but shipping is just 2.95 for your entire order! i want to buy hundreds and can stuff but i don’t have a pressure cooker. all i can make is pickles and tomato sauce w/o that :-/

i am sitting here internetting and some college-aged kids seem to be snooping around and a girl climbed the stoop and looked in, and i looked at her and she said to her friend “oooh look there’s a person!” and ran away. i really need curtains.

yeah my apartment would be a lot funner and better with furniture. someday! some stuff is still in boxes. i used to have two bookcases and now i just have one. i want to get a tv too.

yeah the whole having a couch/living room setup thing makes me want a tv now, too. slippery slope!

my expedit came out weird. it’s mostly right but i got to the LAST screw and it wouldn’t go in so i had to take out 3 and then do the last 4 over, but there’s a weird gap where they did not want to go in properly. gahhh.

love having a desk, though! it’s so big and i imagine lots of productivity :)

hey i’m finally unpacking some stuff!

hahaha i have the same problem. two boxes with clothes in them have been sitting in my room forever. i’ve been writing on my list “unpack boxes” since august. last night i finally opened one because i needed my jacket. so maybe i’ll unpack them this weekend.

i wore a dress to work the other day that i discovered after i unpacked the box that has been doing duty as my bedside table and people were like ‘ooh new clothes?’ ‘uh no actually it’s like 3 years old i just forgot i had it lol’

Where is home, harbl? I’m sorry you’re missing it.

i mostly mean ohio, not where i’m from. i miss people.

I get the same way, I think I miss Indiana/Arizona but then I go back there and nope that is not it. I miss the folks and the good times had with them, but not the place. It is more heartsick than homesick I think.

harbl if it makes you feel any better, i miss my new york people, too. having laurel here was lovely and it made me miss them more but it also made me realize how much more i like my life after moving.
