i’m here, but i’ve been v busy, my father-in-law is visiting from l.a. and then my parents showed up from nz as well and on thursday we are going to uluru (aka ayers rock, where the dingo took the baby) plus i have been very keen on the telephone lately, normally i hate it but lately i have been talking to my sister in nz almost daily like i used to and now we are addicted to each other again.
i always tell my friend to go for a picnic at hanging rock but then it seems mean because i don’t want him to disappear but maybe that only happens to girls who go there?
anyway, i’m glad you are having a lovely time! i talked to my sister in peru last night and it was so much fun! i’m jealous you can talk every day!

i have too much stuff to move again by myself so i am trying to purge. like i can definitely get rid of all my textbooks and some other books. and eat the canned food i was hoarding. but then what?
ditch the sex toys, drug paraphernalia, fat clothes, 10 year old shoes, jr high mash notes, vcr, mormon bible, color-by-numbers paintings (that was a phase, wasn’t it), jane goodall video, and extra forks. that should lighten your load.

i am really torn about books/notes because a lot of it is stuff i may need to reference in the future? but it’s too time consuming to go through it ALL and figure out what’s REALLY important.
i was actually considering getting rid of my plates and bowls i bought as a set from target in 2004. it was $10 for 4 complete place settings. i can eat off my one melamine plate and bowl. i could also get rid of all forks and spoons except just one set lol. not like i cook for anyone ever!
