when i took typing class i figured out that if you typed an 8 and an * and a j all on top of one another, it looked just like a cute cat

this something that cannot be recreated on a computer which in my opinion is a shortcoming of computers

i took typing class on a typewriter, too! i liked it. especially the white out tape.

my boss last summer made fun of me when i was not good at lining up the lines on a form with the typewriter and didn’t get it when i was like ‘but isn’t this a fillable pdf we could just do on the computer and print out?????’ he was also quite fond of his rolodex.
