it was an empty storefront pretending to be something. it had outdated computer stuff in the window and you could see a couple computers inside but it was never open and never had people inside.

i took the train through baltimore. i slept through philly twice, but was awake both times in baltimore.

there are lots of burnt out buildings. and boarded-up ones.

ya those tracks go through a deserted area for the most part. i used to ride to dc and back every day and always slept cuz there’s nothing to look at. there is a school just outside the tunnel before penn station where kids would sometimes wait to throw rocks at the train

i think it’s luck of the draw. the same itinerary is still available but for $10 (still not bad! it’s like $25 to dc, which is silly since it’s like an extra 45 min on the bus)

now i aspire to live near parks. i live near a “park” now but it is more like a circle. i also live sort of close to a “gore” — one of two gores in all of brooklyn!

actually in the past hour i have begun to feel dread over moving maybe i should go to bed

i’m really afraid of taking pictures of people. i once took photography class and was taking pictures of buildings (easy) and had hueg lens so i couldn’t even see people close to me buy a guy got in my face thinking i had photographed him. creepy. understandable because i hate pictures being taken of me too. i’m really bad at pictures anyway though.

i wanted to take pictures of people in peru but then i felt like i would be exploiting them/exoticizing them or something bad. but not as bad as the post cards with pictures of people that are like ‘hey look at these quaint humans!’
