the “ILX Comp” Volume Three?

It’s been a couple years since the last one, and ah maybe when we move to our nice new code on our newish box, perhaps it’s time to kick this one up.

Feedback?

Actually, this should go on IMM or ILE I guess.

Yeah, I’d go for ILE. I was thinking about this the other day, oddly enough.

Back on the ‘real’ one, my 2nd ‘bookmark’ along is IMM, my bad.

Anyway, now that we’re here:

I’d be willing to coordinate mp3s as before — in fact, I could probably handle just about everything now, the one exception being something on tape.

id be down for this

being relatively new, i’ve no idea what any of you are on about. i can hazard a guess, but can someone fill me in on the details of how it all works?

I thought this thread was going to say ‘peanut butter and jelly time’ :(

I thought it would say “... the percolator?” :-(

I thought it would say, “a nap.” Or possibly, “a snowball fight.”

Waht? That was exactly what i was thinking!

maybe we should skip the whole thing and go to peanut butter and jelly time

I am not just down to do this, I will do something with an ILX theme. Not really sure what I mean by that, I guess we’ll discover together.

you have to do a song about the cats.

I want one. What is it?

Possible song titles:

“One Does Not Simply Tank Cat Into Mordor”

“Turn Back (You Poxy Fule)”

“Boxcar Boxcar Boxcar”

I have dibs on #1.

Backing up a bit:

In the past few years, two separate ILX comps were created, curated by Jel over in the UK with some coordinating assistance with me. The idea was that if you were an ILXor and had done some music, you were in if you wanted to be; copies were made and distributed on a low key basis. Both were really quite good! And so Mark is wondering about a third.

I guess it should be added that ILX-related song content is entirely optional.

Oh, and I play cuts from the second one on the wvvy.org webstream.

I would do it.

It takes about a year from conception to actualisation.

Last time, I posited the idea of (and volunteered to) hosting the tracks for ease of d/l, and having some handy info pages for it. It didn’t happen then as I didn’t have the webspace. I do now.

So, yeah I can set something up to do this. It’ll be fairly basic and naturally all contributors can either have their track hosted w/info, not hosted but with info, or just plain not be involved.

Unless the general concensus is “Absolutely no way you!”

Never heard of you.
