i have a slight OCD about there are certain threads that i guess feel kind of long term that i don’t want to start on sandbox, also skittish about starting polls when everyone might migrate en masse back to the main site before the results or whatever. i feel like every time we have an interesting or funny convo here, that’s a time that 3 years from now i’m going to remember it and search high and low on the main site driving myself nuts trying to find it.

I’m with Mr. Stevenson #2 — it’s not really the same. Most of the stuff I’m posting is on older threads and that’s part of the fun — seeing how threads evolve and tastes change. Anything you post in the Sandbox is kind of not really part of that conversation. Not after a few weeks anyway.
