I think that this is a fantastic idea, and that we should set up more of these things. People who claim that we’re ruining the landscape (or seascape) should get a fucking grip and realise where this world’s headed unless we rely upon greener energy sources.

David Bellamy has spoken out against it, but he’s a known global-warming denier and therefore a complete imbecile when it comes to environmental issues.

The only negative is that they kill birds. See Altamont Pass.

MAKE THEM BRIGHT ORANGE and birds will live!

get a fucking grip is a useful policy tool

NOT!

dude are you stuck in 1992? who the hell says “not!” anymore?

Unveling next year’s moderator campaign slogan:

ILX, get a fucking grip!”

PSYCH!

*Unveiling, what the hell...

Communites tend to rally against wind farms wherever they’re placed.

I guess they’d rather we wait until oil prices skyrocket, so that we can’t even afford the oil we need to manufacture gigantic turbines and to run dozens of giant trucks out into the countryside to assemble the windmills.

as if! not = da bomb.

Communities, what, like those who live 50 miles into the North Sea?

I can think of no barrier to this scheme except idiocy.

we have a similar controversy here. Lady across the street has an anti-wind energy lawn sign. I keep resisting the urge to back into it and knock it down when exiting our driveway.

dude are you stuck in 1992? who the hell says “not!” anymore?

Watch one Borat. (The cultural impact of which can be partly measured by the two doofuses a couple of rows behind me on the flight yesterday who were all too fond of saying “NOT!” in their Borat voices. Thankfully they stopped by the time the plane took off.)

tell walter cronkite to shove it, maria!

i hope and pray to god to never ever see borat, ned.

i haven’t seen borat

but thanks for playing

Another article, same topic, sent to me by a friend just today:

I like the little buttons on the side: “Guide to Conservative Organizations” and “Crichton is Right!” and “A Tribute to Milton Friedman.” I’m sure there’s no agenda behind the article itself...
