The Times review decried the politicians for only putting The Thick Of It at number fifteen. There are other current reasons why MPs might be reluctant to declare affection for the latter.
Apparently the scripted badinage between Kennedy and Howard was beyond dire. Perhaps Collins and Maconie wrote it.

The Jane Horrocks thing was definitely intentionally funny in places. I don’t know that that makes it a comedy though.

I wonder if anyone voted for Gyles Brandreth’s fecking awful radio comedy, Living With The Enemy. That, the Now Show and Down The Line mean I sprint to switch off the radio after the 6 o’clock news these days.
