2 Get back into swimming more.

3 Continue uphill struggle of sorting out finances.

4 Be tidier

5 Stop picking nail varmish off at desk. My keyboard contains all these little bits of varnish in metallic colours and it’s gross.

1. Go to America

2.

oh wait that’s more than 5 (xpost)

i’ve sort of started mine a couple months early and doing well with them. I could add for the new year that I should really work a bit harder in this job. I tried that one last year and it never happened though.

My New Year’s Resolution is to finish that thing I started.

roffle, I made seven of these last year and got two done. for the ’07:

- find new day job where I get paid big $ (eke pay rise out of current employer in meantime)

- get DJ gig

- token fitness initiative (ride bike?)

1. finish thesis

1. have sex with all this white girls

1. get in shape enough to run ten miles, seriously! i’ve been saying i’d do this for about a year. probably won’t happen until the summer or fall, but why not resolve it?

2. after graduation, find a regular church. maybe get confirmation or something to be official (i was already baptized).

3. get involved in environmental education

4. this is the big one. really do the things i’ve been wanting to do for years: work at a cool museum, go on a field school, maybe learn to sail on a tall ship if possible.

5. start learning armenian or a romance language

1. Invent something spectacular!

2. Sell some artwork!

3. Ponder stuff

4. Listen to even more metal

5. Try to be tidier

1. Set aside more time for reading

2. Start a new club night

3. Cut out the fateful Last Beer Of The Night

4. Stop falling asleep in stupid places

5. Eat in more restaurants (last year’s ‘learn to cook’ being a complete flop)

I should state that number 4 is the only one I have any hope with.

3. Cut out the fateful Last Beer Of The Night

Ha! Hahahhahhahahaahahahahahahah! As if!

5. Eat in more restaurants (last year’s ‘learn to cook’ being a complete flop)

FT’s In At The Deep End to rise again!

1. Give up computer games (... in February)

2. None of your business.

3. More dates.

4. Learn to play an instrument badly.

5. DJ (this will be covered by persuading Steve and Pete to let me back on after midnight at the NYE poptimism).

1. Stabilize finances/credit

2. Cook lots, collect a variety of recipes I can make (successfully) at a moment’s notice

3. Conduct all romantic/sexual matters more smartly, with an eye on what is good for me vs what I’m prone to

4. Find a new, more lucrative, more creative job

5. Take less shit (see #3) but also be more politic in averting diseastah for either side (esp professionally)

I can never come up with these. I guess I should do more painting.
