haven’t seen the show but watched the movie again recently. it’s so good.

i havent really watched the tv show but what i’ve heard about it is annoying since it seems to do the opposite of everything that made the movie good...ie, avoid teen relationship melodrama and glamorization of high school, etc.

They film it all around my neighborhood. Last month the lights at the craft services tent were shining on our house like it was part of the set. I haven’t had the interest to actually watch it yet.

parts of it are good but the (two) black characters (one of whom has left) are so one-dimensional that they become entirely boring. the best storyline is the the paralyzed qb learning to play quad rugby.

Teen soap it is, but I don’t believe for a second that it glamorizes HS.

good that it doesnt glamorize high school. part of the point of the movie (to me) was the sort of crushing tedium of their lives off the field, and the show, from it’s ads, seems to be going in a different direction.

i cant wait until sarancen stink fingers the coaches daughter next week.
