Earlier this year I got to see Justine Henzell introduce a screening of THTC, and she talked a bit about the production history that’s covered in the obit. A very fine evening. Perry himself wrote a nice personal essay about the filming and picking the music in the liners to the Deluxe edition of the soundtrack.
