What you’re saying is that the RSS feeds don’t work, right? I sometimes get that message for a couple of my (RSS) Live Bookmarks in Firefox (e.g. When there’s a disallowed character in that feed (news articles with question marks in their title can cause that, for instance) or when it’s just down), but I don’t have the (nu)ILX RSS feeds bookmarked that way at the moment so I couldn’t confirm your problem.

I dunno nothing about no RSS feeds. What happened was my old registration wasn’t logging me in, so I created this new one. Wwhen I logged in, I could get to the main page where all the boards are listed, but if I click on any link there, (like, to actually lok at a board) I get this in firefox

Have you tried if it works with a new userprofile? ( http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile#new—watch out that you don’t delete your current profile (and bookmarks), just follow what they say there )

It’s one of your personal bookmarks that’s corrupt. Probably a board that’s been deleted in the meantime.

small clarification: The first time I used the words bookmarks and profile (two posts ago) I meant Firefox bookmarks, the second time (one post ago) I meant the bookmarks that NuILX lets you save in your user settings here.

So, in short, I don’t see any bookmark stuff there. Maybe its lower on the page after Privlege Check Failed? I dunno.

That should be a box where you can choose “last 20 messages, last 30 messages” and then some more options and THEN your bookmarks.

Meanwhile: have you always had !@#$ in your username? Maybe one of those is an illegal character somewhere on the system? Just guessing though, better wait until someone who knows sees that question.

Hey, maybe that’s it! But the first username I had on the hold was simply Austin, and that one didn’t let me login (hence this whole mess.)

Does anyone have jumpy browser problems with the new version of Firefox? i.e. you click a link, after perhaps you’ve scrolled down a bit, and it jumps back up to the top of the page and does not follow the desired link?

It’s annoying.

Austin: you’ve got two accounts — austin (which you’re logged in as just now) and “It’s the easy and immoral way”, which you’re not. Both of them are fine on the server, and have the same password.

If it’s working in IE, and not in Firefox, the problem’s likely to be at your end, cos I can’t see anything obvious at this end. Have you tried logging in and out, or deleting yr cookies?
