I don’t know whether we’re trashing verizon or mark’s dongsize anymore. I don’t even understand how my brain even started with this shit

ok words to not say on this thread anymore

1. “dongsize”

2. “the flow”

3. in fact anything to do with bittorrent because this is just uncool

yes use the cables to put pressure on the tubes, that will let you manage your bandwidth for maximum torrents in every direction

but what if i want to concentrate the flow/spray of the torrent? should i use a funnel? or a hard drive?

both hands

fuck you both

seriously both of you stop

(xpost)

CA SUFFIT

xpost

haha ok sorry for this in advance but az. was telling us all a story last night about how chevy chase spoke at her pre-graduation thing and he forgot his notes and gave this super-rambly “speech” wherein he told the student body “i guess if i had to give one bit of advice, it’d be this: strap your dong down”

SONG

was that slade or queen?

STRAP STRAP

STRAP YO DONG DOWN

STRAP STRAP

STRAP YO DONG DOWN

what if there was a band named Black Beef

dammit why aren’t there any stores that specialize in asymmetric clothing? When I make the rules stores will be grouped by geometry.

yeah, I’m thinking a little more futurist and a little less Buster Poindexter acid trip.

i think it’d be a good look for you though.

dar1a OTM, sigh

two or three years ago they tried to make it cool for dudes to wear those sweaters where the zip-mock action all occurs on one shoulder instead of up and down yr sternum

there’s some ebay sellers that stock yamamoto/cdg/some of those cool belgian designers, i was looking at this yamamoto sweater on there that was asymmetrical & could be worn several different ways, but it was like $275, i don’t really need it

micmac bis has a little bit of this don’t they? issey miyake?

there’s also that store in the alley in georgetown.. relish? they might have something cool. or there’s the y-3 line..

raf simons is cool but, very symmetrical.

relish doesn’t carry men’s stuff anymore... I’m totally down w/ the belgians, though. Dirk Bikkembergs holla.

I did pick up 2 pairs of shoes at the Puma black store this weekend (50% off!) that I’m very very happy with.

dammit why aren’t there any stores that specialize in asymmetric clothing? When I make the rules stores will be grouped by geometry.

When you make the rules I will buy all the clothes at all these asymmetric stores!

hmm, these are really much better looking in person. I hope, I better check again when I get home.

run run run run run, take a drag or two

run run run run run, chase the death of you

gypsy death and you, surely

i don’t know why i ask people for advice because i get very good advice and then completely ignore it wholesale and actually tell the person, while they are giving me advice, “you are right but no, that is not what i will do”

and also:

so fucking otm (xpost ok BOTH posts very otm

)

is that an alpaca

no that’s Mario

speaking of mammals, awesomest thing my cousin did this weekend was take up close pics of all the scary animals at the Museum of Natural History’s Hall of Mammals with a plan to tell his mom he took them all at the zoo.

hey, is the puma black store having a sale? i was only in there once & they were super nice but it’s like no, sadly i don’t have $300 right now for the mcqueen trainers with the outline of bones on them :(

(xpost) animals dead either way I guess, amirite national zoo LOL!

i love the hall of mammals very much it is an awesome exhibit

oh man I was bummed they didn’t have the McQueen’s I wanted in my size, but it’s preally probably better that way. They were doing 50% off all clothing and most shoes when we were in there Sunday but they said it was the last day. Don’t know whether that’s true, but nothing was actually marked on sale.

I like the hall of mammals because except for the actual animals they just abandon all realism and it’s like “hey look at that okapi scampering across the terrazzo!”

you know what’s great? gin. gin is fucking great.

dude if you guys want pumas just wait until hong kong sends you a box with the wrong name on it for free!

ALEX MOST OTM OF ALL.

we will die of alcohol poisoning if we drink all of those gins

i like the entry on how john edwards loses the nomination. i’m still team edwards if for no other reason maybe he’ll stay in the race long enough to talk sense about middle east policy, taxes, etc because really, what does he have to lose?

we will die of alcohol poisoning if we drink all of those gins

this can be the next FAP. I will make memorial tshirts.

WE DIED, etc.

sweet, i want a t-shirt

I’ll make one with all our faces on it an we can cross them out as we die

no fair, alex already died

Remission of Gin: what 18th-century London can teach us about fighting vice

In the early 1700s, every Tom, Dick, and Harriet in London was downing gin night and day. The gin craze that swept through the city resulted in such demagoguery, prohibition, rioting, and morning-after headaches that author Patrick Dillon aptly dubs it “the crack epidemic of the 18th century.”

london otm

wait, gin causes demagoguery now?

guys next happy hour let’s go partake in demagoguery.

In October 1742, William Bird, keeper of a lockup in Westminster, stood accused of causing the death of one of his inmates, Phillis Wells. She had allegedly died as a result of dehydration and severe overcrowding, and her cries, along with those of the other women confined in the roundhouse, had gone unheeded. “Damn the Bitches,” Bird is quoted as saying, “They want Gin.”

i vote “damn the bitches, they want gin” for dcilx motto

guys jon just told me about this, let’s do this

If a young mother won’t lick her calf—the local Lassie does.

we’ll keep the moose at zr’s house, he lives in the suburbs

Gin Lane

Gin Lane is arguably William Hogarth’s most famous work of engraved art. Along with its companion, Beer Street, Gin Lane addressed a very real problem in mid eighteenth century England — the abuse of spirits by the working classes and the poor.

omfg

CUET

Hogarth kind of missed the bright side, though.

hey guys who wants to make bathtub gin?

ME

No he didn’t! Beer Street is the bright side.

true that, but I still hate to see gin cast as the bad guy.

The Flying Dawkins will be located at the intersection of Gin Lane and Beer Street.
