Companies should never pay for employee parking, it discourages use of public transportation (this is not to say that your company is not being dickish).
Is the parking garage under separate management?
Not that I know of, and would doubt it knowing how this place operates. My opinion is that if you are going to offer an employee parking lot or garage, forcing employees to pay for it is asinine. Utilizing the space in a better fashion and not having a lot makes sense to me as a method of encouraging public transit use, as is giving transit benefits. But why offer it and then fleece over your own employees, which you pay like shit under the questionable “we’re a non-profit” lie that you keep telling people??? Ugh this place.
I bet Michael Palinko, director of quality, influenced that policy.

my work doesn’t pay for parking even though the office is in glover park ie NO METRO ANYWHERE AROUND. it costs like $160/month to park in the garage. luckily I have found a street nearby where the zone signs were taken down for construction.

Nu Years: We watched The Player, which is the best Bruce Willis movie ever. As far as the rest of it goes, the movie/Hollywood stuff was funny but it didn’t carry the movie. I made hazelnut chocolate cake with whipped cream, and it ruled, totally.

I dunno, I’ve known a lot of people who have dated at workplaces and it has been fine, but there was one horrible workplace serial dater I knew who was always trying to pick up ladies and then becoming stalkerish and a huge drama queen whenever the relationship would go sour so that kind of person is definitely out there.
I knew a guy whose Asian gf who he had met at work and dated a long time broke up with him and then he went to China (nb she was not chinese, she was Filipino, the gf I mean) and BOUGHT a woman, now that is a drama queen.
