I’d like to apologise for killing ILX by finally finishing the Favourite Characters Poll.

I thought there was supposed to be a gap as well, but the last Batman definitely said Morrison in the “next month” section. In which case, that. Either way, Next Wave. And a desultory flick through Powers.

So, dudes—remember when ILC was wee and tiny, and I (and some other folks, maybe) (and the internets) was getting all stupid about GO READ SHE HULK about 390 times a day, and then Tep agreed, and Huk, and I think slykuts, and Andrew, and more of you (I’m shit w/ names) folks hopped on board, and we were happy because we were reading She-Hulk, and it was good? Well, GO READ THE FIRST ISSUE OF PUNISHER WAR JOURNAL.

Matt Fraction, the PWJ writer, is also Mr. Casanova, and is co-conspiring w/ The Bru on IMMORTAL FIST.

Is this going to be like when my mom said I had to play a musical instrument, and then I stuck with it, so now she thinks she must be right about everything ever?

Based on this, I have just finished reading She Hulk and PWJ.

I mean, I guess some of it’s funny, but you really shouldn’t read a lot of it at a time.

PWJ totally kicked ass and the way it tied into CW #5 at the end there made me squeel like a Riese-moraine. Batman was probably the shittiest comic of the year. Guy Gardner #1 was confusing.
