...and it was actually pretty good. Took way too damn long to get started, tho. V.amusing cameos, too.
tho I agree with the Onion review of it, that they shot their wad in the opening of the flick, wot with all the Meat Loaf and the Dio.
the opening is worth seeing, at least, here.
Well now I don’t need to see the film.
the opening was definitely the best part but i got tired of the movie before the halfway point... a little tenacious d goes a long way. preferred school of rock for j black musical mayhem.
jack black is an obnoxious tool and generally unfunny—and this got TERRiBLE reviews, fwiw.....
yeah, part of the fact was it takes way too long to get anywhere
i did like the music, tho
preferred school of rock
ouch, this must really suck.
i’ve been afraid they shot their wad back on the HBO series, which was fucking great. and then maybe any residual wad dribbled away in the intervening 500 years between that and this movie. also liam lynch sucks.
i liked this and sifl & olly
the show was much, much better, but this wasn’t without its moments.
haha have any of you guys seen the extra scenes on their 2-disc DVD? “shot their wad” indeed.
this movie is like 7 years too late. says a friend of mine.
It did very poorly at the box office, wasn’t it like number 11? Not great for an opening weekend.
this movie is like 7 years too late. says a friend of mine.
I would have been all over this even 5 years ago, but now...eh.
could someone please say shot their wad again?
So I just shot my wad and now I’m posting to faux-ILX.
