Saved is just saved. It only appears in your list of saved stuff, which you can get to via the star at the top. Everything you look at will tell you how many posts there have been since you last looked at it. Bookmarking will actively notify you of changes in the same way it used to, just that it’ll happen without you having to refresh the screen.

• Bookmark a thread.

• Save a specific post.

But how can an unbookmarked thread need to also be unfollowed?

Ah yes, that’s a bug. Was only supposed to be showing for admins. I mean it’s no harm, I can leave it there, but it is a little complicated and I should probably get rid of it.
