man this mission got a lot more possible now that we got these sweet iphones and ipads

“This iPod nano will self destruct in five seconds...”

http://www.apple.com/support/ipodnano_replacement/

i realize that the ads like say tom cruise’s name on the marquee next to the title but i feel like the shots of him are so fleeting and brief that the first couple times i saw commercials for this i was like “oh what’s the renner/pegg/patton movie, looks like it could be good...wait are they doing a MI movie without cruise?”

<3 mrs. thicke though

oh man that’s ms. thicke? *wolf whistles*

the blonde chick in this is way sexy too

I’m so glad I watched this w/o knowing that or I would have been imagining mr. thicke going “...and bringing her to multiple orgasms” on and on in my head

wait there were iphones in this movies, totally missed that

you had to watch pretty carefully

can i just

for real

it was funny how there was an even hotter girl in the movie so she had to kick her out the window of the tallest building in the world

I was p bummed when that happened

hoped that she maybe would have landed on a jet plane and then surprised him @ the end maybe by kicking in his windshield or something

or texting or maybe skyping

my fav iphone scene was the final one when theyre all sitting around the table basking in the glow of success and he passes out iphones for the new mission but it seems more like hes giving them a bonus gift ‘aaand YOU ALLL GET IPHONES’

man we already have so many iphones

w/e see u in kandahar motherfuckers

is this movie good?

it’s brad bird, was enjoyable, nothing particularly groany

its dece, prob the worst of the four tho

I prob can’t convince my gf to see it either way but the previews looked cool

I only saw the previews on a giant times sq screen tho

didn’t have enough of a ‘dark edge’ to it imo, it was all fun & good times

kinda like mi4: oceans fourteen

personally, i love the mission impossible films

but yeah agreed that it was a lil fluffy compared to the others

brian depalma/jon woo/jj abrams/brad bird is such a weird team of directors to have this franchised passeda round among

totes

hey guys iphones only r great when combined with many different types of bmw

things tom cruise has taught me

i love how they get a new superstar dude for each installment xp

maybe if their iphones crashed or they held it the wrong way and lost reception at a crucial point idk

everything is v high end in these films

they had some reception problems iirc

wondering how james bond & Q will respond, maybe they will use android phones

they should fn hacks

I was feelin p nervous at the end cuz none of the iphones had protective cases I mean come on your iphone is probably gonna get scratched up next time you roundhouse some terrorist in the face

at least put some bumpers on it, maybe an incase

its ok they have access to infinite iphones

also can simon pegg go away

he can go play with his new apple products off screen somewhere

you don’t get to become an IMF agent by acting like you have infinite iphones, though

I thought simon pegg was okay in this but I dunno if he ever transcended the LOL BRITISHES category

SPOLIER

was really dumb how the whole plot revelved around the thing w/his significant other then at the end they were all lol not true

END SPILOER

its cool they have an app to make sure what u read on the internets is spoiler-free if you haven’t seen a film yet

yeah I think maybe getting brad bird to direct this was a mistake, he’s still too pixar-fied

simon peggs whole comedy relief role was so dumb and hackish, like he doesnt bother me but his part was garbage

it also turned jeremy renner from a motherfucker w/ some dark secrets into a big huggable teddy bear

“I would do a mission with you anytime, man” *clasps hands* *hugs* *tears*

this movie gave me vertigo though, srs

lol that final scene in seattle was so weak

reminded me of the end of lord of the rings

one iphone to rule them all

i haven’t seen mi3 is it worth it and will it tell me what electronics i need to buy

yah but the recommendations are pretty outdated by now, 5 years later, I suggest you get an iphone

wait did they not do a pop update of the MI theme for this movie? first 3 movies had the U2 rhythm section, Limp Bizkit and Kanye West, the mind reels at who they could’ve done it in 2011

i think the technology most publicized in the MI3 promotional cycle was Yung Joc ringtones

mi3 is p good, a lil too much torture for my tastes, but overall not bad

focus group feedback: ‘a little less torture, a little more hot babes, tnx’

‘more Yung Joc ringtones’

yah its like this one was an overreaction to the last one

yah but the recommendations are pretty outdated by now, 5 years later, I suggest you get an iphone

yung joc ringtones for my iphone is never outdated

2006 was the year of everybody watching gratuitous depictions of torture: MI3, Casino Royale and the highest-rated season of 24

and also Tom Cruise doing the “It’s Goin’ Down” motorcycle dance

I don’t think he rode a motorcycle in this one

he ran fast a lot though

often after jumping off buildings, being hit w/ explosions, being hit by cars—he has dedication to sprints

ran down a building at one point too

meet me in the trap, dayo

simpler times

crosspost to texts from bennett

it literally breaks my heart that tom cruise telling kanye west “i’ll see you in harlem, brother!” is no longer on youtube

Saw this yesterday...decent fluff, but too long and the sitting around with iphones at the end made me wanna scream. re the spoiler at the end, I was hoping that Cruise was trying to make Renner feel better with a total lie, but I guess that wasn’t the case.

haha “she’s actually alive” *cut to shot of badly decomposed body in 55 gallon drum* *tom cruise gives a hollow grin*

wouldve been cool if while she was waving to him from the cafe he assassinated her then tore off his mask to reveal he was the hot french chick

haha “she’s actually alive” *cut to shot of badly decomposed body in 55 gallon drum* *tom cruise gives a hollow grin*

hell yes, that would have been a movie with a little hair on its balls

otm

tho i have to congratulate the mi franchise for not going bourne like every other action movie in the world, lookin @ u 007

looool it took me literally until they “accepted” to realize he wasn’t gifting them

*iphone explodes*

anyway fun stunt movie, i haven’t seen the other ones in yrs but i don’t recall the brian diploma one being so bombastic and the only thing that happened in the john woo one was tom jumping off a motorcycle, so this was just brad bird having fun with all that apple/bmw money right

ugh, this movie bit. i mean, normally i love simon pegg, but jesus, the geeky sidekick schtick was just groanworthy. also, what, cruise can take out 3 armed, burly, bearded russian gangsters in 1.4 seconds with his bare hands, but can’t beat a 50 year old finnish college professor in fisticuffs over the course of like 10 minutes? just take out your gun and shoot him already!

also, do you think apple gave them any money to put some iphones in this movie?

Still smdh that they killed off Sawyer at the beginning of this movie.

agree, sawyer should be in more stuff
