There’s a house near where I work with a pomegranate tree in the front yard. Want to loot that thing so bad.

I wouldn’t go to the trouble, to satisfy my own cravings. But my bf wanted one, so I dutifully wore black and did the extraction. He ate about twenty seeds and then gave up. My fingernails still look filthy.

I then suggested we take another pomegranate and throw it in the juicer. I didn’t bother peeling it, thinking the pith was so dry, it’d be OK. It was not. The juice tasted dangerous.

There’s a nearby vintner that makes pomegranate wine, and tastes surprisingly good.

Ohh I’d like to taste that sometime, never have before!
