but yeah, i’m with William (C) in that i’m becoming more assertive as i get older. i tend to still let others decide the direction initially, but if there needs to be a decision and no one’s willing to make it, i step in after about 30 seconds of watching others waffle to end the agony.

i have become so much more assertive since i was a shy teenager but there’s still a lot of room for improvement. feeling oneself do more assertive things is a fantastic feeling.

Again, depends on context. Again, I used to break down in pretty much any social situation until I turned 21 and then I slowly but surely managed to teach myself confidence around others.
