yes I am a sicko
wizards will be super awful again.
mcgee has to be the most talented horrible defender ever.
most defensively talented, I mean
I hear Bernard King is going to be the new mascot
Tristan Thompson looks terrible
every so often I remind myself that the lakers are being coached by mike brown and that they just lost lamar odom for a ham sandwich and I just go :)))))
always figured kobe probably had a totally normal, loving private life too.
heehee
is the yahoo box score wrong, or was there really a total of 2 points scored in the fourth quarter of the grizz-hornets game?
lol the box score is wrong, 43 pts were scored
Wtf dayo?
you dont have to remind ME!
Carnitas Bryant has reportedly filed for divorce from her NBA star husband citing “irreconcilable difference.”
That’s according to celebrity website TMZ, which quotes sources as saying Carnitas is ending the marriage because she believes Kobe has been unfaithful, again.
“She’s been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she’s finally had enough,” TMZ reports.
Carnitas is reportedly asking for joint custody of their 2 daughters — 8-year-old Natalia and 5-year-old Giana.
According to TMZ, the couple has no prenup, meaning 29-year-old Carnitas is entitled to half of everything.
sources say Carnitas is ending the marriage because she believes Kobe has been unfaithful, again.
shocked, shocked
lol carnitas ya’ll have had it pretty good for a while, you gotta admit
kobe gets to go through a long and messy divorce, just like his idol
her name is carnitas?
lol, those are 3/4 of his fg makes. but when you shoot 15 fts, you don’t need to make fgs.
fellas, in all likelihood i’ll be autodrafting today. my rankings are all set so i believe the system just does it if i don’t sign into the the draft.
I hate to be this guy, but I mean *marries super-rich guy who clearly has no inclination to be faithful* *divorces him for being unfaithful* *takes half*
eh I’m willing to give her the benefit of a doubt—she stuck w/ him through the 2003 thing
and it’s always gonna be on kobe for not getting a pre-nup—it’s on him
fair
kobe is such a strange man
he’s a complicated man
but no one understands him but several women
suuuuucks

Wow, the Happy Hornets.
God have mercy on their souls.
Vanessa’s timing is interesting because of a subtle California divorce law called “The 10 Year Rule”. The rule basically states that any marriage that lasts over 10 years is considered “lengthy” and therefore the higher earning spouse must provide support for a potentially indefinite period of time. If the marriage lasts fewer than 10 years then support typically is granted for half the length of the marriage. So for example if they had been married 6 years, Kobe would need to provide support for 3. How long have the Bryant’s been married? Exactly 10.5 years. Not only will Vanessa get near permanent spousal support but by sticking with him for more than 10 years she’s even entitled to a portion of Kobe’s social security benefits! Well played Vanessa.
ugh the amount of misogyny that this is gonna cause in the sports press is gonna be gross
That was wrt Vanessa, not to dayo
yeah vanessa seems nice imo fuck kobe
like I said, he’s the superstar, it’s on him to get a prenup. LA Times reports that he specifically didn’t ask for a prenup. so fuck him
hello hoops friends, it is I the Metta Whirled Peas. I like the Blazers (since about 1971 when I was a young kid), the Bucks (since I moved to Wisconsin about 16 years ago), lots of other teams and individuals, and I hate some others too. what up.
here is a coupon for one free bean burrito made fresco at taco bell (redeemable upon first game of 11–12 NBA season, exp 12/1/11)
welcome!
welcome! I’m a hardcore Celtics fan who just moved to Dallas. Should be an interesting year
EZ, where in d town did u move?
hi cibuloid welcome to goodburger home of the goodburger
whoooooooa thanks dooooooooood /kelvoice
Kevin Love looks great, weight loss has done wonders for his leaping ability.
Bonzi Wells out there, in an nba uniform.

Wolves might be ok this year, just from upgrading their coach and Love being even more awesome. By ok I mean like... 27–39
My daughter’s got me watching Nickelodeon, which again convinces me that the Heat’s coach moonlights as Logan on Big Time Rush.
He needs a second income, obv. It’s hard out there for an NBA coach.
Snoop Dog’s the special-guest on this episode, BTW.
Not an especially believable performance, TBH.
love has 15 and 11 in 16 minutes?
yes he looks amazing
4 threes, in general looking like a true franchise PF.
just a reminder that when Kahn took over the team he told season ticket holders that Love would never be an allstar and would be at best the 4th best player on a contending team.
i love love so much
where are you watching the wolves?
nba league pass
god kahn really is the worst isn’t he
for real tho why does he have a job
because Stern vouched for him, partly!
glad love got in shape, i was worried he would coast. adelman will do wonders for them.
4 threes, in general looking like a true franchise PF.

this is a truly shocking development just fyi for those of you following along at home, like i srsly doubt theres one person in the world who predicted love would be as good as hes become
I predicted he’d be the best rebounder since Rodman.... Hitting 3 pointers like fucking clockwork was not a prediction of mine.
and uh, maybe I was a little conservative on the rebounding.
:)
lol there are 20 dudes in the golden state box score
the wolves might suck for the entirety of kahn’s tenure, but wolves fans could do worse than watching rubio, williams and k love play every night
eman shumpert had 16
wow am0n looks crazy athletic
not watching, but apparently dwight howard totally phoning it in during the preseason game with the heat. 24 minutes, 5 points, 4 rebounds IIRC.
obv., it’s just a preseason game, but this same line has been picked-up by several commentators. it seems to end with, “it can’t go on like this,” and suggestions that dwight is sending a “trade me now” message to magic management.
jameer nelson is also 0–10.
well, it is a preseason game.
still, heat were up a moment ago 104 — 67.
my brother is at the game, he just checked in to tell me that the heat’s d leaguers are shitting on the magic’s starters
lol dwight is such a petulant little shit. there’s this thing called professionalism, that’s implied when you’re being paid 20 million a season
yeah, dwight might be incredibly immature — multi-millionaire at the age of 18 who legit pretends to be superman....
