isn’t this the worst? sometimes it’s almost like if the most utterly mundane form of escapism was available to me I would take it just to avoid actual work.
when I’m bored, first I check all my emails. Then myspace and friendster. Then I go on ILX. Then I read Engadget and Gothamist. Then The Onion. Then Curbed. Then Chowhound and Yelp.
and dailykos.
i know right
lets have an ilx poll to determine peoples favorite websites to visit while bored at work! i’ll tally it up, just send in your 10 most visited to ilxwebsitespoll@gmail.com
Online boggle is the way to go.
being gored at work is worse
Haha, I thought this said ‘booed at work’.
It’s awful being bored at work. I’m glad I have an interview on Thursday.
I mainly read random wikipedia entries when totally bored, or read some articles from the Skeptical Inquirer.
the worst is that i feel like i SHOULD be doing something, i just don’t know what that is, so i try and busy myself with things that might look like work so i don’t get fired, but i think the fact is that I actually have nothing to do, which is just as bad because why don’t they downsize me? only like 20 people work here...
cna you tell this is my first “office” job?
TGIF amirite
Oh wait.
did I mention I discovered numlock today? God, I have a boring job to do this week (translating a financial report). I’m hoping the museum client sends me something about mummies next week. I’m working in the house by myself—I could use a “boss” looking over my shoulder so I would actually get busy. This job is going to take a lot longer cuz I’ve got a bad attteeetuude.
I should crack a beer. Oh, wait, I’ve still got to pick up the kids.
