Perhaps there could be an AI function that could be used to produce a summary of past threads, for example the entire ILX politics threads in 2 or 3 bullets.

No need to use AI, I can summarize the entirety of the US politics threads for you:

• The democrats are really shit!

• Yes but the republicans are worse!

• Thread regulars huddle into formation for yet another debate on strategic voting/circular firing squads/lesser of two evils discourse.

i am nostalgic for la-ilx ca. 2006. i didn’t appreciate it fully at the time, but man that was a fun group. i once made ned the worst mint julep in all of history.
