UFO, reply quotes a bit of the post (and links to it), if it’s more than about 8 posts back. If it’s closer than that, it just quotes the poster name, as I was worried about tons of duplicate information going all over the place.

If you copy a link, it always embeds a snippet.

I didn’t either. Not that I use it.

I’m glad you liked it. I had forgotten I made it (20 years ago). The first person who likes it told me that yesterday, which is part of the problem when gauging what people like and don’t like.

So I have it on the list to hide images, embeds etc.
