i think harry has developed a post-surgical fake limp. this morning he was holding his foot up pathetically with a poor little matchgirl look on his face and when i said ‘aw’ in a concerned voice he wagged his tail and set it back on the ground and then skipped across the room.
towards the biscuits. by then he had a markers look on his face.

also i’ll be getting a poang chair and footrest from ikea for my study but they don’t have it in stock. i was there yesterday with my other sister for a couple of hours. it was fun, partly i think because i had let five years elapse since the last visit plus also my sister was in a fun mood and when she is good she is very very good.

i can tell you that of the ilxors i’ve met, only vic is taller than me, although i understand that strongo is also rather towering.
ps i have received an email from ‘nic’ re: jobs in seattle but i cannot speak with him now because germy washington state children have robbed me of my voice.
here’s the upshot: some of are officially tall, one of us is officially short, and some of us are mysteries. but not many any more!

harry told us off for going away and then he showered us with kisses and was happy to come home but i think he is missing the two little dogs whose house he was staying at (and i’m told they are missing him), he has stayed there almost every time we’ve gone away for the last nine years and all the dogs always go into a slump for a day or so after their little pack is broken up. we are so lucky to know those lovely people, they love snd take superb care of harry, i never have any anxiety about him when i’m away.
