they’ve been around for quite a while, though, and it looks like the client base is pretty large and varied. and it seems like an ideal next step in your career, a good fit plus a place you can really apply your expertise to influence the success/growth of the org.

ps i secretly want to become a dog trainer because i am tired of office bs. Also I need to learn all this training stuff anyway and my dog trainer charges mad $$$. And doggies are better than people...though i guess there is a lot of people training in dog training.
it’s an entry-level position (kind of admin assistant thing, i think?), but his company is basically the best work environment a person could imagine.
how does anyone afford to live in sf?
a. they work for some start-up that has more venture capital than they know what to with
b. they rent a walk-in closet (literally) for $2000 a month
OR you can work in sf and live in our pretty little city and pay $1200 p/m for a nice 2bd w/garage and yard (although we discovered recently we are paying waaaaaaaaaaaaay under market value) and commute 45mins each way.

its over twenty years (god) since we left school for the summer in donegal and told our friends/classmates we were moving to seattle where my dad was due to take up a marine professorship or idk what.
after a summer of increasingly disturbing fuckery and brokenminded parenting we ended up living with cousins on that island I keep posting about instead, where I had to learn irish for five years.
he owes me a week in seattle, basically, is the point
i like ‘post haste’ in the context of ilx. but i always have to confirm to it’s actually a thing before hitting submit because it’s too perfect.
