The gift cert for a mani/pedi is also an awesome idea. I know my wife was thrilled to feel more “human” (her word actually, lol) when she got to get out of the house and feel pretty when she was home on maternity leave.
I don’t know if you live close enough to do this or would even be willing to do this, but if you just gave her a ‘coupon’ to come by after the baby arrives so that she can take a shower or have a nap or whatever, that is an amazing gift at that time. Or do dishes.
