lets see who the Texans start this week
i’m really feeling for them. as crazy as it is I think they need to call old #4. they are ranked near the top in nearly every metric but you can’t succeed with TJ Yates
well t.j yates will probably suck, but he’s third string, so it’s kind of a whole different stratosphere
i was talking w/ a friend last week or so about how irresponsible it is for the jets to have brunell as a back up — they’re a team trying hard for a playoff spot and if sanchez gets hurt (and he’s miraculously never missed time in the nfl, right?) that team is FUCKED cuz they don’t even run the ball this year
vince sucks btw
tbh i thought yates looked raw but not without some promise. a week of first team reps might make all the difference
the rest of their schedule is: atl, @ cin, car, @ ind, ten
that’s really manageable
is Brunell really that much of a step down from Mark freakin Sanchez?
i’m not sure if brunell can throw the ball 40 yards

Filed to ESPN: Vikings plan to release Donovan McNabb today, according to a league source.
the texans GM is taking a leerjet to minneosta right now, right?
wouldnt someone w/ a worse record claim him 2 fuck over houston? thats how it works right?
oh, true
I think Lovie likes Hanie, so I don’t see Chicago going after him. Philly definitely won’t have him back. As mentioned upthread, Dolphins are in an okay place with Moore. He may very well fall to Houston.
tenn especially or any of hte afc 6–5 or 7–4 teams would be dumb not to claim him just 2 block houston
Good point.
tenn especially or any of hte afc 6–5 or 7–4 teams would be dumb not to claim him just 2 block houston
and waste what, like 2–3 mill in salary?
the cowboys claimed orton
lol I forgot Donny McNabb still was in the league, he’s definitely looking like the only option for Houston atm
McNabb at Houston as a “game manager” could get them out of the first round.
btw guys i just wanna float this out there: what if DENVER makes the PLAYOFFS and TEBOWTEBOWTEBOWTEBOWTEBOW and then the streak finally breaks and he’s utterly demolished by like, say, the steelers and there’s a whole amazing painful offseason where they have to “seriously assess the future”. Wouldn’t that be way better than them just barely missing the playoffs? Wouldn’t you totally be willing to not see the Raiders make the playoffs just so that would happen? I am thinkingit might be
rolando mcclain arrested in alabama on gun & other charges
No!!!! Rolandooooooooo!!!
second time he’s been arrested in alabama on gun charges
you mean, so we can see Tebow next season and beyond? hell yeah
McClain arrest photo:

allegedly held gun to victim’s head, then fired it next to their ear. These are misdemeanors in alabama.

Hard as it is to believe, pic of McClain smiling getting arrested not photoshopped. It’s on front page of Decatur Daily. Photog John Goodbey

i know they basically have no owner over in oakland, but the fuck
if ndamukong suh got 2 games for stepping on some guy’s bicep, rolando mcclain deserves, what, 200 games for putting a loaded gun to someone’s head?
it’s the NFL, man.
as a Raiders fan I’m mostly just amused because McClain has been a huge bust.
one thing I love about the NFL is you can really do almost anything and fans, GMs don’t really care as long as you can play. I wish this attitude extended to stuff like end zone dances though.
the celebration penalty is just about the stupidest thing in all of pro sports
billromanowski Bill Romanowski
Rolando McClain belongs in jail for stealing from the Raiders this year. Hasn’t pissed a drop for what he is being paid.

I’m more surprised that Romanowski’s on twitter
also forks: NO I DO NOT WANT THE RAIDERS TO MISS THE PLAYOFFS JUST TO SEE TEBOW FLAME OUT. aldskfjdsklfjds;afjfj wtf man.
I think Raiders missing the playoffs this year because of the Tebows would be like... the 11th most painful sports experience of my life, which is saying a lot.
Where does Monday Night Jihad author Jason Elam stand on the Tebow issue, I wonder.
fuck bill romanowski forever
seriously was there a worse guy who played in the nfl
yeah it’s weird to me how romo has fans
the kids go nuts for those angry juicers
oh yay a “special” Tim Tebow edition of “NFL playbook.”
fuck bill romanowski forever

I think hawks-iggles could be really funny.
oh Vince...
slight BEASTMODE sighting
Full BEASTMODE on display now.
that fall didn’t look that bad
I’m more surprised that Romanowski’s on twitter
im more surprised romanowski’s not in jail
yeah it looked pretty mild. strange. xp
can’t remember the last contract year like DeSean’s.
tbh i kinda just floated that tebow story to get veg girl’s reaction
wow what a horrendous call, whatever
I hope I did not disappoint, forks <3
still see flames when I think about that scenario, lol
there it is
lol Vince, you big goofyhead
lol guys can u believe this team i root for?
^ new ILNFL board description when ILX is back up.
lesean is such a beast; imagine if Vick could somehow stay healthy
vince sucks btw
― forksclovetofu, Thursday, December 1, 2011 4:11 PM
i feel bad for lesean that he has to play for this godforsaken team, he’s the best runner in the nfl
even without that pick in the end, I have no idea what the Eagles were thinking when in the 3rd quarter, down 17, they rattle off a 10+ minute TD drive that bleeds into the 4th, taking the play clock down to 5 on almost every play
like, sure you can comeback vs. Seattle, but why make it so hard on yourself??
god i wish i were a betting man sometimes because i had no fucking doubt seattle was winning that game.
home team in a thursday night game, unless its really a mismatch, is a p good betting proposition imo
also when the other team traveled across the entire country and lost the previous week by 30 points
for those reasons and more....
Yet, only four people chose Seattle in pick’em this week (and I only changed my pick to Seattle about 3 hours before kickoff).
the only truly safe bet is anti-lions on thanksgiving. not ttly srs, but ive made a killing on that game in recent years that it really stands out /degenerate
i took Seattle, go me
Andy Reid seriously must be trying to get fired at this point. Nearly all his decisions have been terrible. How the hell is Vince Vince Vince flinging it over and over when you have one of the best RB’s in the game?
like, if you want a clinic in how not to use your timeouts, just watch Andy Reid

i took them but didn’t go as hard as i should have on confidence points.
so i only watched a quarter of this in the end but ye gods vince was throwing some ugly balls. maybe ppl can stfu about his win-loss record now. everyone concerned would’ve been so much better off if kolb had stayed at the eagles, football-wise at least. i am sure he doesn’t mind getting paid a fortune to sit the bench somewhere else.
also, seattle D looking busier than recent times. and i didn’t see any of the really magic from marshawn but i wonder if he is really back for good, because that would be a huge deal for them. he still has 4 or 5 years of prime time. they’ve clearly gotta dig up a QB in the offseason tho. it’s almost enough to get you wondering if maybe pete carroll isn’t terrible after all. maybe.
That 3rd quarter lollipop that Hawthorne picked sort of defines VY for me — not only was Young’s head not in the game, I don’t think his head is/was in football, period.
Home from work today and finally watching the Belichick “Football Life” thing. LOL pirate costume.

I for one would take Vince over Kolb
you clearly haven’t had to have Vince qb your favorite team for several years
no, I’ve had Drew Brees

McNabb goes unclaimed!

Why he was chowing down on Skittles after the play — especially when he had an upset stomach — was a different story. Lynch has said that his mom used to feed him the candy in high school, and the tradition has continued to his day. Touchdown? Skittles. That’s not something you normally see during an NFL game.

Running back Justin Forsett(notes), Lynch’s teammate going all the way back to their days together at Cal, said hypothesized after the game that Lynch may indeed derive some kind of mystical power from the candy, and that an endorsement deal would be the only fair gesture in return.

Good news, America — according to Darren Rovell of CNBC, the Skittles people have offered Lynch a two-year supply of the candy and a custom dispenser for his locker as a gesture of gratitude for all the product placement.

that’s really kinda sad?
his postgame puke must be a rainbow of considerable magnitude
think what hed do on some fuckin lara bars amirite
new england is 0–1 in 1pm games this season
i beg your pardon
horseshoe loves dan orlovsky
hello, friends
tom brady just snapped the ball while the colts had 13 men on the field
hey, guyz — missed y’all
excited for the jets and cowboys to lose or almost lose today
it just seem like it’s gonna happen
the colts new defensive coordinator last called defense in 1983, for the saskatchewan rough riders.
i’m really gonna miss tony sporano’s absurd over excitement about field goals next year
oh, you’ll find a way.
besides, sparano might still be the fins coach.
and why not? we’re leading 6 — 0, and our mighty quarterback has already amassed almost 40 passing yards in the first half alone.
can’t believe how tebow willed that pick 6 into happening
indy is really about to score, huh?
