is it? i saw your thread on ilm and thought i should check him out. more classical? i think about eluvium and max richter and there's a crossover between ambient and classical, at least for me.

i don't if tony conrad is for chill out. i guess it depends some of his work demands more attention than others. the la monte young/theater of eternal music stuff is very good if you haven't heard it. conrad's solo stuff still channels that sound but puts more focus on his violin
