there is a house near me that has been hit multiple times because people love to accelerate when they see yellow lights and the road is curved so they see it even later. sorry for harbling but i just read this book called THERE ARE NO ACCIDENTS that was v good and talks about this sort of thing! like the reflexive assumption that changing the speed limit will solve the problem.
